As makers, we see ourselves as more than consumers. We are productive, we are creative, we are makers! Our world is what we MAKE it!

Join the Discovery Center’s Maker Community to share your talents or learn new skills from makers in the area. All around the world, tech-influenced DIY communities are flourishing. People across generations and disciplines come together to share and develop their talents and discover new ways to solve everyday problems. Let us foster creativity and encourage collaboration in the heart of our community.

I believe we are all makers. We can find all kinds of makers in our communities. […] My goal is that all people, young and old, come to see themselves as makers, creators and doers because I know that the people who have the skills and knowledge to make things have the power to make the world a better place.” Says Dale Dougherty, the founder of the Maker Movement.
