Big Science at Sanford Lab

Leaders from the Sanford Underground Research Facility will lead a discussion titled "Big Science at Sanford Lab," an exploration of the science at Sanford Lab and its impact on education and the economy in South Dakota, Monday, Dec. 18, at the South Dakota Discovery Center, 805 W. Sioux Ave., Pierre, S.D.

The free, public event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a soup social; the talk begins at 6 p.m.

Sanford Lab’s Mike Headley, executive director of the South Dakota Science and Technology Authority, and Jaret Heise, science director, will give the presentation.
