National Geographic Educator Certification is a trans-curricular professional development opportunity that equips you to develop the explorer’s mindset in your students to teach them about the world and how it works, empowering them to succeed and make the world a better place. During this three phase workshop you will learn online about National Geographic’s Learning Framework, develop and teach two lessons per the Framework, and create a capstone portfolio with lesson plans, photos, and a video reflection of one of the lesson’s impact.

This opportunity is the continuation of the Phase One workshop offered on January 14. You do not have to participate in the Phase One workshop to participate in this workshop as Phase One will be covered online. If you do participate in the Phase One workshop, you may proceed directly to Phase Two.

Additional registrations with National Geographic and the University of Sioux Falls will be required and will be sent to you after registration.
