As a hands-on science center, this is what “getting back to normal” looks for us, keeping the health and safety of our members, visitors, volunteers, and staff top-of-mind.
Our exhibit hall will be limited to 25 people at a time to reduce the spread of germs, please follow the steps below to book a time for your visit. Some high-touch and close-contact areas will be closed (Water Fountains, Planetarium, K-nex, Harmonograph, and Van De Graaff Generator).
To keep us all safe, please review our disclaimer before your visit!PHASE II: MEMBERS ONLY: August 1 - August 7
Birthday parties: Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 from 1 - 5 PM
PHASE III: PUBLIC OPENING: starting August 8

Our reopening plan is rooted in science. It is based on guidance from the CDC and it follows best practices shared by our peers at the Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC).
Please be aware that pandemics are not predictable and require vigilance and flexibility in our responses. We are monitoring available data closely and may have to suspend the reopening plan if infection rates increase.
